Rockfall protection reinforced soil wall "Geolock Wall"

A reinforced soil wall with a proven track record of absorbing large-scale impacts using reinforced soil.

The "Geo-Lock Wall" is a reinforced earth wall designed to absorb falling rocks, landslides, and collapsing soil, primarily along roadsides and behind residential houses. It can withstand rockfall energy of up to 5500 kJ and is utilized for a wide range of rockfall countermeasures from small to large scale. It primarily uses soil and geosynthetics as materials. Due to the unique flexible structure of soil structures, it efficiently absorbs impacts and can handle large-scale impact energy. Because it is a soil structure, it can be installed in various terrains, including sites with limited installation space, sites with vertical gradients, and sites with valley topography. Additionally, it does not transmit impact forces to the supporting ground, so in most cases, ground improvement treatments are not necessary. ■ Rockfall, landslide, and collapsing soil countermeasures using reinforced earth ■ Capable of withstanding rockfall energy up to 5500 kJ ■ Available in three types according to the scale of rockfall ■ Over 540 adoption records nationwide Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism New Technology Information System (NETIS) Registration Number: HR-990009-V *Registration period has ended NETIS Fiscal Year 2016 Semi-Recommendation Technology *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Collapse Soil Erosion Protection Reinforced Soil Wall "QK Wall"

Measures against landslides in steep slopes using reinforced soil walls with high shock absorption performance.

The "QK Wall" is a reinforced earth wall installed on steep slopes behind residential houses to catch collapsing soil and debris. It absorbs and disperses impact forces by receiving soil at the top edge. Since it is a soil structure that does not require significant support, it can be installed in various site conditions with minimal ground improvement or treatment. Additionally, compared to gravity retaining walls, it allows for shorter construction periods and cost reductions. ■ Measures against collapses on steep slopes behind residential houses ■ Reinforced earth wall with excellent shock absorption ■ Structure considering soil impact forces and accumulated earth pressure Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism New Technology Information System (NETIS) Registration Number: CB-090036-A *Registration period has ended *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Avalanche Protection Reinforced Soil Wall "Geo Snow Wall"

Excellent avalanche protection with reinforced earth walls that have superior shock absorption performance.

"Geo Snow Wall" is a reinforced soil wall designed to absorb avalanches by installing reinforced soil along roadsides. It can also be applied as a guiding retaining wall to direct avalanches along their path. Since the embankment is made of fill material, it has a flexible structure that can adapt to unexpected ground subsidence. Even when subjected to the impact force of an avalanche, there is no eccentric force acting on the installation ground, which means that large-scale foundation work or ground improvement is mostly unnecessary even in sites with poor ground conditions. ■ Reinforced soil wall efficiently absorbs avalanche impact ■ Soil structure with minimal impact on the supporting ground ■ Blends well with the landscape, creating no sense of pressure Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism New Technology Information System (NETIS) Registration Number: HR-990009-V *Registration period has ended As the 10-year registration period has elapsed, the listing on NETIS has ended. However, the registration number continues to exist. It is also a highly reliable construction method selected as a quasi-recommended technology in the fiscal year 2016 NETIS. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
